I grew up as the middle brother of 3, feeling pulled between the very different paths each of my siblings chose. Being torn between two completely opposite characters severely impacted our family and drove me to suppress my feelings and frustration. Our collective differences drove a wedge between all of us, and when we lost our youngest brother to an overdose it pushed that isolation and separation even further.
