The Human Aspect of Mette

Growing up I always found comfort with my big brother. He was there for me throughout our turbulent childhood and then when we we lost both of our parents as young adults. Shortly after we lost our parents I was diagnosed with cancer, and while I was in the hospital my brother was then diagnosed with a non-curable brain tumour. He passed away a few months later and I was suddenly facing life alone for the first time as a mother and an auntie. I was both fighting to survive cancer and fighting to see hope.
