I grew up without a father. School was easy for me, so I felt like I had to do something that mattered. Once I started working, I pushed myself to excel, and I started a hospitality business with my husband. To deal with all the obligations of managing a large family and business, I numbed my emotions and let myself degrade. Eventually I felt more and more overwhelmed and burned out.
