The Human Aspect of Ijhaz
I grew up during the war in Sri Lanka that challenged my curious and shy nature drawn towards wonder and beauty. In school I was bullied and they threatened to sexually abuse me that pushed me into a dual state of mind. On the outside I wore a mask of a strong survivor and on the inside a vulnerable and lonely child. My loneliness grew to the point where I did not see any meaning in living because I felt like my personality did not belong in my society and environment.
